She and Jinks raised Texas Longhorn cattle, which she adored. Patricia lived life fully and ended her days at their home, Last Chance Ranch, located outside of Hondo, TX. Patricia and Jinks had many dear friends from their time spent living in Sulphur, LA, and Lumberton, Kerrville, and Hondo, TX. Her beauty never faded, and those meeting her for the first time were quick to note it. She was a person of faith and took seriously the teachings of that faith. Throughout her adult life, Patricia focused on her role as wife and mother.
She was also blessed to grow up surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins. Patricia’s parents, Bruce and Lorena “Jerry” Morgan and her grandmother Clemence Jennings were central to helping her grow into a kind-hearted, socially conscious woman. They married after college on August 3, 1958, which was the beginning of their 64-year marriage. He was a football star, and she was chosen for the Homecoming Court. Patricia started her relationship with Jinks in Louisiana at Sulphur High School. Patricia Ann Moss, wife of Oliver “Jinks” Moss and mother of Melinda Bryson, Bruce Moss, and Brian Moss, died at the age of 83 after a brief illness on June 2, 2022, in Hondo Texas.
